DISNEY’S MAGIC KINGDOM SCRIBBLE ART IS AVAILABLE AT LILLIANANDCO.COM
We have a black and gold guest bathroom. I mean, who installs a black toilet? It’s tacky and terrible, and for the past year and a half, I’ve avoided spending too much time in there, but we have family coming in town for Thanksgiving, so it’s time to do something about it, since gutting it isn’t an option, I was forced to accept the shiny gold and black, and you know what? I’m actually starting to like it.
Who knew a black and gold bathroom could look so good? When I started thinking about what I wanted to do in there, I knew I wanted some sort of Disney inspired decor. I love the look of scribble art, and Matt suggested we create the Disney parks icons (or as Walt Disney used to call them, weenies) as scribble art — the Castle, Tree of Life, and Epcot’s Spaceship Earth.
At first, I tried cutting out the silhouette with an Exacto knife and making the scribbles by hand, but they didn’t look right, so I just created them in Photoshop, and printed it out on cardstock.I then bought several gold framed prints from the thrift store for $3.50 a piece. one of the glass panes trying to take the picture apart, and I ended up taping the Epcot scribble art in the frame with wasabi tape. Voilà! Art.

Hi, I love your DIY Disney projects. I’ve actually uploaded the scribble art to a photo website to make canvas art out of it. I’ve tried to share a photo of it–I hope that works! I’ve ordered all 4 and they’re being framed. I just wanted to share that on the Walgreen’s website, you can have these made (with or without the frame) and use the coupon “CANVASLOVE” until 2/15/17 for 40% off of your order! Happy decorating!
Oh wow!! That’s so amazing! I never thought about doing a canvas print. If you ever get the chance, please share a picture of them. We’d love to see them. 🙂
Love following your family. We went on our first Disney trip this year and LOVED it. Already have next one scheduled.
Thank you so much!! xx
