Today we’re doing a D-Luxe Burger dining review for you. It’s one of the new counter service restaurants that opened with the new Disney Springs, and we don’t think there’s anything better than an all American burger and fries. A few weeks ago we gave it a try. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. We ate and ate until our stomaches were about to burst and we still kept dipping fries in sauces. It wasn’t Christian’s birthday, but how can you tell that little cutie no when he wants to wear a birthday hat on a random Friday. So, we decided it was a perfect day to celebrate his un-birthday all day.
I ordered the veggie burger with Tzatziki and thought it was mild and fresh with a Greek flare. Matt, on the other hand, ordered the El Diablo burger. It’s basically a heart attack between two buns with it’s chorizo blend patty, fried banana peppers, and chipotle mayonnaise. It was the perfect amount of kick for anyone who loves spicy. We also tried our the Classic Cheeseburger, and both agreed that sometimes, you just can’t beat a good ole greasy classic cheeseburger.
Neither Matt nor I finished our meals, so in the future, we’ll save the money and calories and share. Of course, if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan, you’re like kids we’re eating like kings tonight!! The kid’s meals were the perfect amount, and all four of our kids finished them off.
I’d have to say our favorite part of D-luxe is their selection of dipping sauces. Our family lives to dip our food in some sort of sauce, so we asked for one of each. We spent the entire meal dipping our little hearts out. They were all delicious, and there will be a struggle picking just one sauce when we return.
One thing we didn’t try were the milkshakes or alcoholic sodas (shocker, I know!), so if any of you have tried them, let us know what we should order the next time we’re there!
Overall, we loved eating at D-luxe Burger, and have already been back for more. You definitely get your money’s worth, so the next time you’re at Disney Springs, make sure to eat at D-Luxe.
