Morimoto Asia Street Food and Meeting Friends

This past year Walt Disney World did some major overhauls to Downtown Disney, ummm, I mean Disney Springs, like adding tons of new shops and restaurants. I’m fairly certain eating at all the restaurants around Disney World is a lifelong journey, and since our family loves to eat, we’re willing to take on that challenge.

Morimoto Asia is one of those new restaurants, but they also have a counter service option called Morimoto Asia Street Food. We took the kids there to try it out and meet up with some Disney internet friends. The day we went it was empty and sitting under the awning creating a nice break from the stifling heat.

We tried the their Vegetable Egg Roll ($8), California Roll ($8), Shrimp Tempura Roll ($8). At first we were surprised that our sushi wasn’t sliced like we typically get when ordering sushi, but then it dawned on us that street food is just that, you should be able to hold it in your hand, and eat on the street.

Since, we didn’t get full meals for the whole family, we all just got a bite of each, and the kids loved it, giving the food an 9 or 10 out of 10! If you’re ever looking for a quick bite to eat that’s full of flavor, be sure to check out Morimoto Asia Street Food.

We met Cody and Colton from Lost Bros. Trading Co., Molly Buck, and Rachel Branham. Be sure to check out their page or YouTube channels.
